Great News for IB Customers, effective April 12th, 2010, Futures Commissions are being REDUCED!
In-case you were wondering, Interactive Broker's (IB) old commission schedule use to be almost identical to Tradestations'. The New commission schedule will make IB much cheaper for those traders trading only 1,000 sides per month.
Here's is Tradestation's Commission schedule (what IB use to charge for ES)
I wonder if Tradestation will be lowering there rates now too?
I hope so.
I will be giving an in depth comparison of the best futures broker based on Commissions next week, so stay tuned.

Good to know. Thanks
i pay 3.30 r/t ES on OEC as many or as few a month that i want
This was a nice little surprise.
How did you get $3.30 r/t from OEC, Anonymous? I was just talking to a couple people about that, and they said the published rates turned out to only be for "highly valued" customers, and they got started at $12 r/t (not a typo), and then got it reduced to $8.
Wes,
OEC had speical rates last year due to bad data outages and they were trying to win back clients. Those rates are only attainable thru broker negotiations and you must trade very heavy voume.
